The e-4motion Mini comes standard with 3-speed Shimano Nexus hub and an electronic control on the handlebar to regulate the electrical support strength.
This system provides the following options:

Support on/off
Minimum support which automatically adjusts to the rotation speed
Average support
Maximum support

Together with the 3 hub gears, the e-4motion Mini got with this system a total of 10 different electrical support positions. This model is approved on the road as a bicycle for the entire European Union.

Technical specification

The aluminum frame is anodized in red. This means that there is no paint used, but by a special treatment of the frame parts a fine blue lock layer is created. This is very hard and therefore much less susceptible to damage than with the use of paints. Didn’t you see a battery on the image? That’s right, the battery is fully incorporated into the frame of the bicycle and therefore not visible but additional well protected.
